Bexley Grammar School vision is of a school that gives students the confidence to succeed in whatever they aspire to do in their lives. They want all students to reach their full academic potential in line with the Learner Profile of the IB and with our ethos, expressed in the three words: Intellect, Empathy and Courage.

Bexley Grammar School has an outstanding academic record and Bexley Grammar School is heavily oversubscribed. They stretch children with a challenging curriculum including two foreign languages and all three separate sciences at GCSE. they strive to raise aspirations, grow confidence and develop young people into compassionate leaders. It is a specialist languages college.

Bexley Grammar School is a larger than average selective school for boys and girls aged 11-18. and has just successfully applied to add science and maths as a second specialism.

Some of the children come from homes that are socially and economically advantaged, but students come from a wide range of social backgrounds. The school has been designated a High Performing Specialist School and also has Leading Edge status. Bexley Grammar School has the International Award, Healthy Schools status, Investors in People and Sportsmark and Artsmark Gold.
