Guided by their school motto - "Fiat Lux" or "Let there be light" - the staff value intellectual curiosity, engagement, empathy, aspirational thinking and a keen desire to learn and improve. However, above all they want all students to be happy and engaged during their time at Dover Grammar School for Boys'. The staff believe that happy students are always successful students.
