About the School

Chesham Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in Buckinghamshire. There is a county-wide selection to secondary school at 11+ and there are 13 grammar schools within the county, five of which are co-educational.

Chesham Grammar School intake is drawn from a very wide geographical area. The majority of students come from the Chiltern and South Bucks area of Buckinghamshire but there are also students who travel from Hertfordshire.

Year 7 11+ Exam Content

Bucks 11 + Exam provided by GL. There are two Secondary Transfer Test papers. They are multiple-choice.  One paper tests  verbal skills including comprehension, technical English and 11+verbal reasoning. The other tests mathematics and 11+ non-verbal skills including spatial reasoning.
