In order for students to fulfil and exceed their academic potential King Edward VI Academy offers a broad and balanced curriculum within a caring and supportive learning environment. The school has a dedicated pastoral and inclusion team, which includes a designated transition co-ordinator who supports the students to make a positive transition into secondary school, and who is on hand to support them throughout their first year and ensure that all students are equipped to ‘Try their Personal Best and accept No Excuses’.

King Edward VI Academy is proud to have been oversubscribed in all year groups. King Edward VI Academy welcomes students into the school from Years 7 to 13 from Spilsby and the surrounding areas. School reputation remains strong in the community and King Edward VI Academy is very much the school of choice in the local area.

As well as accessing a curriculum which allows pupils to achieve the highest grades at both GCSE and A – Level, all students have access to the extensive enrichment opportunities made available by the David Ross Education Trust.
